He studied medicine with Gains Halsey, M. D., and located at Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, in 1825, being the first physician of that borough; in 1831 removed to Bolivar, Ohio; was a member of the constitutional convention of that State in 1851; in 1853 located at Beloit, Wisconsin; was a State Senator there.
