General Notes: Husband - Christian Rugh

Early in 1800 he removed to Indiana County, Pennsylvania, where he settled on a farm midway between Blairsville and the county seat. He reclaimed a fine farm from the virgin wilderness, and became one of the successful agriculturists in Indiana County. He also owned land in Clarion County, about five hundred acres, which he divided among three of his children. He and his wife were members of the Lutheran church.
