General Notes: Husband - Thomas Bell
The lineage of this old Pennsylvania family is traced back to a Mr. Bell, who was a farmer and stock raiser in Washington County, Pennsylvania, in the early colonial days of our national history. He was married and had a son Thomas.
As a young man he removed to Clarion County, Pennsylvania, settling in Licking township, where he rapidly built up a large and lucrative patronage as a veterinary surgeon. He achieved prominence in his profession and in addition to the practice thereof was engaged in diversified agricultural work on a small farm in Licking township. He was modest and retiring in his disposition and never participated in public affairs.
