J. Eileen Bell, 71, of Utica RD 1 died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 1997, at Northwest Medical Center in Franklin.
Born March 3, 1926, in Wy­attville, she was a daughter of Samuel E. and Vera Gehres Deets.
She was married June 13, 1947, to Philip Bell who sur­vives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Gerald A. Bell and his wife Lois of Okeana, Ohio, and Paul W. Bell and his wife Carolyn of Stoneboro; two daughters, Mrs. John R. (Linda A.) Neely of West Harrison, Ind., and Mrs. Randy T. (Susan C.) Dunlap of Cochranton; five brothers, Richard E. Deets, William E. Deets and Samuel A. Deets, all of Cochranton, and James I. Deets and Donald A. Deets, both of Utica; and 10 grandchildren.
Preceding her in death in addi­tion to her parents was an infant brother, Robert Deets.
Friends were received Thurs­day in the Ronald Dickson Funer­al Home in Cochranton and will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today in the Canal Wesleyan Church at Hannaville.
Funeral services will be con­ducted at 1 p.m. today in the church. Rev. Brian Covert, pastor of the church, will officiate.
Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Hannaville.
The family suggests memorials may be made to the Canal Wes­leyan Methodist Church Organ Fund, RD 1, Utica, Pa., 16311.
