General Notes: Husband - James Woodburn


He borrowed a gun with which to go hunting. The powder had become spilled from the nipple so that it would not discharge when the percussion cap was snapped. He handed the rifle to his brother Thomas, who was at the wood pile chopping. The gun discharged while in Thomas's hands and inflicted a fatal wound upon his brother.
