General Notes: Husband - George W. Bell

He passed his life in Armstrong and Jefferson counties, Pennsylvania. He had a farm in Pine township, Armstrong County. He was a carpenter by trade.
He served in the Civil war, having enlisted in the army in 1862, in the 2d Pennsylvania Cavalry; during his service he contracted rheumatism, and was discharged for disability.
