General Notes: Husband - Jacob Weiser
For three generations in succession the office of chief magistrate or chief burgess of Gross Aspach, county of Backnang, Wurtemburg, Germany, had been held in the Weiser family. The second of these officials, and the first of the line whose name is known, was Jacob Weiser; his son was also named Jacob.
The family arms are thus described: Per fesse, gules and argent, in chief, a swan of the second, in base three roses of the first, stalked and leaved vert.
He was magistrate (Schultheiss) in the village of Great Aspach, in the county (amt) of Backnang, in the land of Wurttemberg [Germany]. In this village the ancestors of the Weiser family from time immemorial were born and are buried.
