General Notes: Husband - John H. Wilson


He received a good practical education in the subscription schools of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and the early free schools of Kiskiminetas township, Armstrong County. Leaving school, he engaged in farming and stock-raising. To the one hundred and eighty-two acres of land in the township which he inherited from his father, he added by purchase eighteen acres more.
In politics, he was a republican, and he was a member of the United Presbyterian church at Olivet.
