Urban T. Bell
Urban Theodore Bell, well-known resident of Beaver township, Clar­ion county, died at his home at 11:40 a. m. Monday.
He was born at the Bell home­stead in Paint township, February 24, 1869, and married Alice Samp­sell on September 21, 1893, at Clar­ion. He was a son of John C. and Rebecca Smith Bell.
Mr. Bell was a member of the Manor Methodist church for the past 46 years.
Surviving are his wife and the following brothers and sisters: Al­lison A., Beaver township; Win­field S., Beaver township; William E., Sunnybrae, Canada; Mrs. A. A. Hartzell, Monroe township; Mrs. A. H. Kiser, Warren.
Mr. and Mrs. Bell were foster parents to the children of Winfield Bell after the death of his wife They also survive: Mrs. Lillian Kiser, Shippenville; Theodore Bell, Shippenville, and Clarence R. Bell, Clarion.
Mr. Bell was a well-known Beaver township farmer, who specialized in chicken raising.
Funeral services will be held at the Manor church at 2 p. m. Thurs­day with Rev. 5. L. Peck, pastor of the Shippenville Methodist church, assisted by Rev, P. C. Heilbrun,

Mrs. Alice L. Bell
CLARION — Mrs. Alice L. Bell, 104, of Shippenville RD 2 died at 10 am Monday at Grandview Health Care in Clarion.
Born March 18, 1876, at Rockland in Venango County, she was the daughter of Henry and Margaret Dasher Samp­sell.
She married Urband T. Bell in 1893. He died in 1941.
Mrs. Bell was a member of Manor United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two foster children, Lillian Kiser of Knox and Clark Bell of Clarion. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a foster son, Theodore (Ted) Bell; eight sisters and four brothers. She was the last surviving member of her family.
Friend may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm today at the Gerald L. Goble Funer­al Home, where services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday.
Rev. William H. Smith of Shippenville United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Manor Cemetery.
