He was graduated from Westminster College; was a soldier in the Civil War of the 145th Regt. Pennsylvania Volunteers; was mortally wounded at Fredericksburg, Virginia, on Dec. 13, 1862, and died Dec. 19th. His one daughter, Mary M. Vincent, wed Harry Snyder. They resided at Lusk, Wyoming.
