General Notes: Husband - Benjamin Williams
He was one of the first to make a location along the river above the mouth of Scrubgrass creek, Venango County, PA. He came from Northumberland County, in 1803, bringing with him a large family, and resided there until his death. [CAB, 1017]
He was a native of Wales, and married a native of England. They settled first in Lancaster county, PA, whence they removed to Northumberland county, remaining until 1803, when they removed to Venango county and settled in Sandy Creek township. He was a tailor, and followed his trade among the pioneers.
