General Notes: Husband - George F. Beggs
He attended school regularly until he was about nineteen years of age and then, until he was twenty-nine, made his business the assistance of his parents on the farm and the homestead. At that time he married, and after the death of his father had the management of the old family place, upon which he continued to reside. It was situated on the Pike road, and he erected a modern residence. Mr. Beggs was a leading Republican of the county, having served two terms on the school board and a like period as supervisor. He was also an active member of the P. H. C. of Hadley and was an elder in the United Presbyterian Church, of which his father was a charter member.

She was active in the church and missionary work of the United Presbyterian society of Sheakleyville, Pennsylvania.
