General Notes: Husband - John Whittaker
He was one of the early settlers of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, and subsequently became a resident of Porter township, Huntingdon County, carrying on several distilleries near Alexandria.
He was one of the old-time gentlemen, and long retained the peculiar costume of the colonial times, wearing knee-breeches and powdered wigs or cues, and was one of the most enterprising men of his time.
