General Notes: Husband - Joseph F. Swigart

He was born in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, and passed all of his long life there. After his marriage he settled at Mosgrove, and followed farming and railroading, and also engaged in the building of coal boats and barges. In his early years he was a singing teacher, as such being well known to the residents of his section. He was a member of the Baptist Church, and in politics an active Democrat.
