General Notes: Husband - Edwin Marcenis Wallace

He was born in Washington County, Pennsylvania, and went with his father's family to the state of Indiana when he was ten years old. His fancy led him to mechanical employments, and he learned the cooper's trade. He then went to California, and, returning in 1856, settled in Terre Haute, Indiana, and resumed his trade.
