General Notes: Husband - John S. Walker
He was born in the Mansion House, of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania. He was reared there, and educated in the public schools. He was a merchant there until 1857, when he removed to Minneapolis, Minnesota, and engaged in the boot and shoe business, remaining there until his death. He was treasurer of Hennepin county, Minnesota, two terms.
He was a member of the Masonic fraternity, I. O. O. F. and K. of P., and his funeral was conducted by these societies. After his death his widow and son returned to Pennsylvania, where they then resided.
