General Notes: Husband - Sir Joseph Warren

He was a member of the English knightage, and the owner of a large estate in Shropshire. He was twice married, Henry and Harriet being the children of his first union, his second wife, Eliza (Brown) Warren, bearing him six children. At his death the eldest son, Henry, usurped the entire estate, making the lives of his step-mother, sister and half-brothers and sisters so miserable that they counted it a privilege to leave his roof and to immigrate to the United States.
