General Notes: Husband - Walter Vincent Trask


Civil War: he enlisted in April, 1861, as a private in Co. D, 42nd Reg. Pa. Volunteers ("The Blacktails"), and was in the battles of Drainsville, Harrisonberg, Cross Keys, Mechanicsville, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Gettysburg; was taken prisoner at Gaines' Mills. He was discharged in 1864 on account of wounds.
