He came to America [from Ireland?] in company with his father.
He cleared what later became the Fulton homestead [in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania], which he left to Andrew Fulton, father of Richard and Robert Fulton, during his lifetime, then it passed to a brother of Richard and Robert Fulton, Colonel John Totten Fulton, who traded farms with his father, Andrew Fulton, and it thus came into the Fulton family and was inherited by Robert and Richard Fulton.
