General Notes: Husband - William P. White

At the age of seventeen Mr. White entered the New Lebanon school and, after remaining there for two terms, became a student at the Edinboro Institute. In that institution he enjoyed a course of three terms, as well as one term at the Grove City State Normal—all of which was preparatory to his chosen work as an educator. This career covered ten terms at Sheakleyville and other points in Mercer County, when he located on the old White homestead and retired from the field as a pedagogue.
