General Notes: Husband - John Thompson

He was born in the eastern part of the state of Pennsylvania, and later journeyed across the mountains and took up his residence in Greene township, Beaver County. In 1787 he was awarded a grant of land of sixty acres, and this he cleared and cultivated. He was accidentally killed during the construction of the public road which passed the family residence.
