General Notes: Husband - Jacob Thomas
In 1815 he came to Centre County, Pennsylvania, with the Valentine brothers, and together they rented the Dunlop estate, works, and iron interests. He soon returned to Chester County and died, whereupon (in 1817) his brother, William A. Thomas, went and took his place, and thus became identified ever afterward with the Valentines.
