General Notes: Husband - Robert Temple

---

He learned the trade of blacksmith, after completing his studies in the district school, and later settled at New Sheffield, Pennsylvania, where he worked at his trade for ten years. In 1862 he moved to the farm on which his son, William M. Temple, later resided, and there spent the remainder of his days. He served as school director for several years, also held other offices of trust; was a member of the United Presbyterian Church; was liberal in his political views.
