Miss Florence Ziegler.
Miss Florence Ziegler, 82, a former teacher in the Cranberry and Rockland Townships schools, died at her home, 116 East Second Street, at 4 p. m. Wednesday.
Miss Ziegler, who was well known here, had been ill for the past year.
The daughter of A. M. and Martha Smith Ziegler, she was born at Maple Shade on Jan. 27, 1850. She taught school in Cranberry and Rockland for some time before she came to Oil City in 1905.
For the past 35 years she was a member of the Grace Methodist Church and was active in various organizations of the church.
Surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Candace and Belle Ziegler, at home; Mrs. W. J. Smith and C. M. Ziegler, Oil City.
Funeral services will be conducted at the family home at 4 p. m. Friday. The Rev. George T. Green, pastor of the Grace Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
