General Notes: Husband - James Wright Young
He was a gold prospector in Alaska.
Civil War: He enlisted in Butler in the nine-months' service, and when his term had expired he re-enlisted with with his brother, T. F., and faithfully followed the old flag on Southern battle fields until hostilities ceased. He engaged in teaching for some time in Alaska, and later made his home in the state of Washington.
