General Notes: Husband - James E. Wright
Having completed his early education in the public schools, he remained beneath the parental roof-tree, ably assisting his father in the care of the farm and their coal mine. Succeeding to the ownership of the estate, he carried on general farming with unquestioned success, his place being one of the best in the vicinity, and reflecting credit on his good judgment and ability. He paid much attention to stock-raising, and also operated the mine opened by his father. Politically Mr. Wright was identified with the Democratic Party after casting his first presidential vote, in 1880, for W. S. Hancock. [HMC 1909, 894]
