General Notes: Husband - John Beatty
He was born in New Jersey; removed to Centre County, Pennsylvania, and settled at Cool Spring Furnace, Fayette County, in about 1820. He was a common laborer.
He and his two brothers, James and Samuel, came over the mountains from New Jersey and settled in Dunbar township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, near Laurel Furnace about 1816, they being accompanied by their mother.
