General Notes: Husband - John Strong

He went from Berks County, Pennsylvania, with his parents, by overland route to what was then known as Canada West, now Ontario, Canada, it taking them seven weeks to make the trip. They took with them their three children, one horse and two cows. He was a farmer by occupation. John Strong died at the age of ninety-nine; his wife at ninety-eight.
