General Notes: Husband - Samuel Wilson

He attended public schools until he was nineteen; during leisure time and vacation, he was clerk in his father's store or worked on the farm. In 1882 he began a business course at the Iron City College, Pittsburgh, graduating the following spring. He served in his father's store at Oakland Mills as clerk, until the spring of 1888, when he and his twin brother, James, bought the store from their father and their uncle and conducted it until the spring of 1890. They then disposed of it to A. J. Sausman. Samuel Wilson, soon after, entered the First National Bank, at Miffiintown, of which his father was president, and remained two years. In May, 1892, he became assistant cashier of the Orbisonia Bank. He was a Republican.
