General Notes: Husband - Ebenezer Beatty
He entered his country’s service in the Revolutionary War when but eighteen years old, as a drummer boy under Washington, and his posterity have displayed the same spirit, his descendants having been represented in every war since. In 1794 he moved with his family over the Allegheny Mountains, settling in Butler County, PA, and there he was a thrifty farmer throughout his active years. He lived to the age of ninety.
He settled southwest of Harrisville, Butler County, PA, in 1797.
