General Notes: Husband - Jacob Strickler

Tyrone Twp, Fayette Co, PA

On the 22d of December, 1791, he bought of Jacob Stewart, his brother-in-law, a tract of land containing 394 acres, whereon he lived and brought up his large family of children.

He was one of six brothers who emigrated from Germany to the United States. He settled in Redstone township, Fayette County, and was a successful farmer.
