General Notes: Husband - Platt Sutton, Sr.
He came from New Jersey and settled in Butler County, PA, in 1801.
He came to Butler County, PA, from New Jersey shortly after the Revolutionary War ended, becoming one of the earliest of the pioneers of Concord Township. He entered actively into the early life of the community, and was one of the organizers of the old Concord Church. He served in the War of 1812.
