General Notes: Husband - Todd Gehr Truxal


He was educated in the public schools of his native city and completed his education at Washington and Jefferson College, remaining there for two years. Before he was well launched on his business career he answered the call of his country for the first World War, and enlisted in Company I, 10th Pennsylvania Infantry, later the 110th Regiment, part of the American Expeditionary Forces. Twice wounded, he was invalided home. In the autumn of 1919 he began to serve his country in another way; he was elected justice of the peace and took office January 4, 1920.
Mr. Truxal was a member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. Connected with many civic organizations and movements in Greensburg, he was one of the charter members of the Kiwanis Club. He was a member of the Reformed Church.
