General Notes: Husband - Samuel Wissinger

He first appears as a resident of Cambria County, Pennsylvania, and as proprietor of the first hotel in Johnstown. On leaving Cambria County, Mr. Wissinger went to Somerset County, and there for a number of years devoted himself to the cultivation of a farm of one hundred and twenty-five acres. His next removal was to Cook township, Westmoreland County, whither he went with his son Joseph. In politics Mr. Wissinger was a Democrat, and in religion a strict and active Dunkard.
