General Notes: Husband - John Scott

He was associate judge in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, and quite prominent in his part of the state. He was descended from James Scott, of Roxburghshire, Scotland, who emigrated to Pennsylvania during the Revolutionary War and settled in Pittsburgh for a short time, and afterwards moved down the Ohio river and settled on land acquired by him on the Broadhead Road in Beaver County.
