General Notes: Husband - George Beal
He resided with his uncle, James Beal, about a year and then built a log house on his uncle's land and at once commenced to clear a farm from the wilderness. At the death of his uncle he inherited one hundred acres, including the land upon which he had built, and there he spent the remainder of his days. He assisted in building the old Perry Chapel (Methodist) near Clark's Mills, Pennsylvania, and for many years was a class leader in its religious work. He also served on the township school board for fifteen years.
