Perry Twp, Mercer Co, PA

About 1851 he came to America, and went to live with his uncle, James Beal, who had previously located on a farm which Edmund would later own.

In association with his brother he cleared the two hundred acres of land which formed a part of the homestead that came to be known as Chestnut Ridge farm.
