General Notes: Husband - William Beaty
He was born in Newburg, Orange County, New York, and could distinctly remember having seen Washington. He served in the War of 1812, being stationed at Erie to protect the country from an apprehended invasion of the enemy, and died at his home in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. He was a farmer by occupation, a Democrat of the old school, and a consistent member of the Presbyterian Church.
He reared a family of seven sons and six daughters.
