General Notes: Husband - Rev. Henry Conley Beacom

From a professional school teacher he passed to the ministry and was licensed to preach by the Methodist Episcopal church in 1860. In 1865 he became a regular member of the Pittsburgh M. E. conference, and was the popular pastor of the Main Street Methodist Episcopal church, West End, Pittsburgh. He was chiefly instrumental in erecting one of the finest church edifices in that city.

He became a member of the Pittsburgh conference of the Methodist Episcopal church in 1865, and was a minister until his death.
