General Notes: Husband - Joseph B. Wissinger

He was born in Cambria County, Pennsylvania, and assisted his father in the labors of the Somerset County farm. He also learned the shoemaker's trade, which he followed for a number of years. He was a man who could turn his hand to a variety of things, being very expert with tools, and he was also successful as a distiller. On removing to Westmoreland County he followed his trade and engaged in business as a distiller. Like his father he was a Democrat and a Dunkard.
He died at the age of seventy-six.

General Notes: Wife - Catherine Beachley

After leaving Somerset County, Pennsylvania, she left the Dunkards and associated herself with the Methodist Episcopal church.
