General Notes: Wife - Helen Belle Rush

From the age of three years she had a wonderful ear for music, accompanying on the piano her father, who played the violin, in the opera house at Dawson, Pennsylvania. When thirteen years old, she played in the orchestra and read by sight any music. She was playing in school ever since she started, at the age of eight, and in Sunday school and league, and was also noted for her wonderful voice, and was singing since the age of four in churches, theatres and in many public places.
