General Notes: Husband - Christopher C. Shoff

He was born in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, and adopted farming as his life work. He later lived retired on his farm in Bigler township, Clearfield County.

When but thirteen years old he began to work in the timber, and thereafter gave a part of each winter to the lumber business, devoting his summers to farming. He had sixty-three acres of land. He served in almost all the township offices and for six years was constable.
