A graduate of Grove City High School and attended courses at Purdue University, Lafayette, Ind.; Wittenberg University, Springfield, Ohio, and Pennsylvania State University, Erie, Penna. He was employed at the Grove City Cooper Bessemer Co., for 34 years. A supervisor for 30 years, also active in educational fields since May 19, 1958, when elected to fill an unexpired term of Oscar Cooper, who had resigned from the Liberty Township School Board. He was a member of the Grove City Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Mason Lodge.
