General Notes: Husband - John Stevenson

For thirty years he kept a tailor-shop at Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, then he kept a hotel on the Steubenville pike, and later resided at George station, on the Penn-sylvania railroad. His wife was the mother of eleven children, James being the eldest; nine reached maturity, and six were still living in 1889.
