General Notes: Husband - Moses Gilliland "Gill" Thompson
He carried on general farming and for a time spent his winters in the oil fields, as a tool dresser, cultivating the farm during the summers. He had one well on his own land that was a constant producer. He was a member of the order of Odd Fellows. He was not active in politics but he served three years as school director of School District No. 3.
