General Notes: Husband - Joshua Sharpless
Middletown, Chester Co, PA
He was a minister twelve years. They settled at first in Kennet, within the limits of New Garden Monthly Meeting, and remained about ten years, after which he purchased a farm in East Bradford, now Birmingham, and became a prominent member of Birmingham Meeting.
In the spring of 1800 they removed to Westtown Boarding-School to superintend that institution, and remained till the fall of 1811, when they returned to the farm.
