General Notes: Husband - Albert A. Shaner
He was born in Gilpin township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, and there attended public school. Until he was twenty-three years old he worked for his father. He thereafter was employed at the mill of the American Sheet & Tin Plate Company, at Leechburg, being engaged as “rougher.” He belonged to the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, and in religious connection was a member of the Hebron Lutheran Church, of Leechburg. He was a Republican on political questions.
