General Notes: Husband - John Turner, Jr.
He was reared on the farm in Venango County, Pennsylvania, which his father cultivated there for many years, and after he had attained his majority was presented by John Turner, Sr., with sixty acres of timber land in Deer Creek Township, Mercer County. He cleared the land for cultivation, added other tracts to it, brought the whole tract under thorough cultivation, engaged in stock raising and lumbering, improved the homestead with substantial and convenient buildings for his family and his livestock, and lived there till his death.
