General Notes: Husband - George Stewart

He was originally from the state of New Jersey; on coming to Pennsylvania he bought and settled on a large tract of land at or near what was later known as McDonald's station, on the line of the P., C. & St. L. R. R. After a residence at that place of about four years he removed to Brooke County, West Virginia, where he resided until his death. He was a colonel in the Revolutionary War.
