General Notes: Husband - John Walker
He moved with his family from Scotland to Newry, Ireland, and probably in May, 1726, sailed from Strangford Bay for America, land-ing in Maryland, on August 2, of that year. He settled in Chester County, Pennsylvania, and died there. He had contemplated removing to Virginia, as did many of his relatives, and had bought a farm in Rockbridge County a short time before his death.
General Notes: Wife - Katherine Rutherford
She was either a niece or full first cousin of Rev. Samuel Rutherford, the non-conformist Divine of Scotland, who was imprisoned for his religious belief and practices.
